The Shura Missing Persons Unit needs our help. This is a unit comprised of soldiers, doctors, lab technicians, Rabbis, and Zaka members. Since the beginning of this war, every headline on the news of losses, both soldiers and civilians, ends up passing through our neighboring Shura base. The Missing Persons Unit has been working tirelessly around the clock since October 7th, identifying missing loved ones, preparing bodies for a final Jewish burial, and giving closure to Jewish families nationwide. Each day, they gird themselves to fight both a physical battle, to persevere and continue performing their immensely taxing, holy work, as well as an emotional battle, where the atrocities they see from the state of the bodies are etched into their minds and souls.
These holy individuals need our help. We need to show them that we appreciate and value their dedication to providing this essential חסד של אמת, this final act of loving kindness to bring our brethren to a proper burial. To show our support and love, we turn to you, our brothers both here in Israel and in חוץ לארץ, to donate towards boosting their stamina and lifting their heavy spirits.
Our goal for the funds raised is twofold: to provide them with an ongoing daily boost of sweets and energy snacks to support them physically, and to provide them emotional support and morale boosting in the form of quality events, shiurim, spiritual and emotional counseling, and nourishing meals. Your generosity at this time can and will make a true difference to these unceasingly selfless individuals of the Shura Missing Persons Unit.
